Uitvossen is a phone game you buy one game at a time and run yourself. We keep data processing to a minimum: there are no accounts and your data is wiped automatically after the game.

What data
- Email address of the organizer — to send you the play links and confirmation.
- Evidence (photos/videos) that players submit during the game. Photos are re-encoded on save, stripping out EXIF/GPS data.
- Locations of both teams during the game (location pings at set times), to make the map and game mechanics work and to show the routes taken in the recap afterwards.
- Game data (teams, jokers, log) to run the game and show a recap.
Retention period
After the game ends we delete evidence files (photos/videos) and location pings automatically once your plan's retention window has passed — 7 days by default, 24 hours for the free trial game.
After that only the recap remains: the joker standings, the team names, the result and the log. We keep the organizer's email address for our records of the purchase; you can request deletion via contact.
Lawful basis
We process the organiser's email to deliver and support the game you bought (performance of a contract). Evidence and locations are processed to run the game you chose to play (consent, which you withdraw by stopping) and are deleted afterwards. Payment data we process to meet legal and accounting obligations.
Payments
Payments go through Mollie. They process your payment details; we don't store any card or bank data.
Hosting
The app and data are hosted in the Netherlands (EU), on server hardware owned by our infrastructure partner zakelijkbereikbaar.nl in the Serverius data centre in Dronten. We manage the server together.
Error monitoring
We use Sentry (EU region) to capture technical error reports so we can fix problems. These contain technical data (what went wrong and where), but not your evidence photos or locations.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing, and to portability of your data. Email contact and we respond within one month. Magic links are personal — don't share them beyond their intended use.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or your local supervisory authority.
